11 federal government initiatives for Nigerians, how to register

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has announced that Nigerians can access eleven initiatives established by the Federal Government. These initiatives span various sectors, including education, transportation, business, housing, and skills acquisition.

In a post on X, Idris emphasized that these programs offer valuable opportunities for Nigerians and shared a video detailing the initiatives. Special Assistant to President Tinubu on Social Media, Olusegun Dada, also highlighted these programs and their registration websites.

The National Orientation Agency noted that the government is implementing policies to address economic challenges, focusing on youth relief, as young people make up about 76% of Nigeria’s population. The agency urged Nigerians to take advantage of these government programs.

Meanwhile, nationwide protests erupted on August 1, driven by public dissatisfaction with economic and social conditions. Demonstrators called for reforms and accountability. President Bola Tinubu urged patience and assured citizens that decisive actions would be taken against those responsible for unrest. He also highlighted the achievements of his administration since taking office, emphasizing the need for peaceful dialogue.
