Numerous candidates took to X (formerly Twitter) to confirm receiving shortlisting emails, with notifications being sent in batches. The message to successful candidates read:

“We are pleased to inform you that you have been shortlisted to proceed to the next stage of our recruitment process — the Computer-Based Test (CBT), scheduled to take place on Saturday, 7th December 2024.

Details regarding the CBT, including the test time, venue in your preferred (or nearby) state, and additional instructions, will be communicated to you shortly. Please ensure you regularly check your email for updates.”

The organisation emphasised its commitment to a merit-based process, stating:

“We value diversity and inclusivity, assessing each applicant solely on their qualifications, skills, and suitability for the role. You can be assured that every candidate will be treated with respect and fairness throughout the recruitment process.”

In parallel, NNPCL has started informing candidates who did not qualify for the CBT stage. Some applicants also confirmed receiving these regret messages, which explained the reasons for their disqualification:

“After a careful review of your application, we regret to inform you that you did not meet the minimum requirements to progress to the next stage of the recruitment process due to one (1) or more of the following reasons:

a. Age
b. Class of Degree / Academic Requirements
c. NYSC requirement
d. Due Diligence Requirements”

NNPCL expressed gratitude to the unsuccessful candidates for their interest and encouraged them to stay connected for future opportunities:

“We encourage you to stay connected with us through our media channels, where we share updates about future career opportunities. Wishing you the best in your career journey.”

The organisation reaffirmed its dedication to fairness and transparency, ensuring that all applicants are assessed equitably based on merit and qualifications.

The CBT stage is scheduled for Saturday, 7th December 2024, with further details to be communicated to successful candidates soon.
