This decision was outlined in a circular issued by the university’s management after a meeting with the Students’ Union leadership on Friday.
According to the management, the break is intended to give students enough time to pay their fees and complete online registration.
The first semester examinations, originally scheduled to begin on September 2, have now been postponed to September 23. The circular also noted that the portal for fee payment and course registration will not be reopened after September 20, 2024.
