A couple in Philadelphia experienced an unexpected turn of events when their vehicle rolled into the Schuylkill River while they were having intimate moments inside.
According to police reports, the incident occurred around 4:45 a.m. on Wednesday.
Fortunately, the unidentified pair managed to escape from their vehicle, a 2020 Range Rover, before it was fully submerged. By 9 a.m., authorities were able to recover the car from the water, as reported by local news outlets.
The couple had parked in Fairmount Park, close to Kelly Drive and the Columbia Bridge, when they lost control of the vehicle. Police noted that they were “engaged in sexual activity” when the car inadvertently shifted into gear, leading to the surprising incident.
